I paint using old masters' oil painting methods within a contemporary format. I paint recognizable figures and objects influenced by the sentiments and politics of today.

I grew up in Kingston, Jamaica and studied there with artist Mr. Barrington Watson. By the age of 15 I had works for sale in galleries.

After a hiatus of more than 20 years, I again began to paint. I have studied with Bay Area artist Raymond Saunders, Norweigan artist Jan Saether, and Santa Barbara sculptor Bela Bacsi, among others. I am once again selling in galleries, winning awards and working hard in my studio.
